A compact electric furnace, specifically designed for melting small amounts of gold or silver.
Comes complete with crucible, lift out tongs and graphite mixer.
Variable heat control to 1100°c. Lightweight body mounted on stainless steel plate. LED signal to indicate that required temperature has been reached. Automatic setting to keep temperature constant. Crucible capacity 1kg.

On initial set up please note -
Electric melting furnaces need to have the element temperature built up gradually, before going up to full. As a guide We usually ask our customers to build it up slowly around 400, 600, and 800 degrees
