An Evening Of Excellence At The Goldsmiths Centre Jewellery Foundation Programme Awards
Following our judging afternoon the week before, it was a pleasure returning to the Goldsmiths Centre on the evening of Thursday 02 July to meet the 2026 Jewellery Foundation Programme cohort and of course present the HS Walsh Heritage Craft Awards as part of the awards presented at the event.
Congratulations to:
- Rose Simonds: overall winner of the HS Walsh Heritage Craft Award, in recognition of her outstanding precision, patience and natural aptitude for enamelling. Rose has demonstrated exceptional potential within this heritage craft.
- Stasha Clark: runner up of the HS Walsh Heritage Craft Award, recognising Stasha's determination, technical sensitivity and impressive potential within the heritage craft of chasing and repousse.
- Valentina Valdez: 3rd place in the HS Walsh Heritage Craft award, highlighting Valentina's meticulous attention to detail with polishing, along with consistency and commitment to achieving an exceptional standard of finish.
The evening showcased the exceptionally high standard of work produced by the 10 students on the Programme, particularly noting this is over only 10 months of studies. What a fantastic end-of-year celebration for the students, together with their families, friends, the Programme team and not forgetting with many also in attendance from the wider jewellery industry.
Our CEO Patrick, along with members of our Hatton Garden branch team, had a most enjoyable evening and all extend our congratulations to the award recipients across all categories and wish them all every success as they take the next steps in their professional journeys.
