Brilliant Birmingham: World Craft City Status for Jewellery & Allied Trades

Following last week's fantastic news that Birmingham has achieved World Class City status for jewellery and allied trades, you can read more about this in the following article.

Our Birmingham team fed into the bid, which was led jointly by the Jewellery Quarter Development Trust and Birmingham City University.  HS Walsh is well placed to support the landmark recognition, having been located in the Jewellery Quarter since 1988 and supporting the JQ community.

Birmingham is one of only 8 cities in Europe to hold this prestigious status and is set to mark this success with a number of Biennial celebrations, which we cannot wait to be part of.

Many congratulations again to all those involved in bringing this recognition to Birmingham, including Rebecca Skeels, Course Director at Birmingham City University, who featured in our 'In the Trade' article last month.
