Menzerna 456 Grey is a Heavy Cut pre-polishing compound designed for fast and effective removal of deeper scratches, grinding marks and surface defects before moving on to finer polishing stages.

Its high cutting action produces an even pre-polished surface without leaving unnecessarily deep scratches, making it ideal for preparing precious metals, brass, non-ferrous metals and stainless steel for subsequent polishing.

For heavy cutting, use Menzerna 456 with felt wheels or tips, black bristle wheels, hard coat hair or rough calico mops. The choice of polishing wheel allows you to match the cutting action to the job and the condition of the surface.

Once the heavier marks have been removed, follow with a medium-cut compound and then a suitable finishing compound to achieve a bright, high-gloss finish.
