These wooden handles are primarily for use with hand files and are commonly used by jewellery setters and engravers.

Available in three lengths to suit your personal preference – these handles feature a metal collar at the neck to retain the shape of the wood and to prevent splitting when the file is inserted. To mount the file, the tang of the tool needs to be heated and inserted into the neck of the handle, then tapped down to secure.
