Horosolv degreaser fluid, cold cleaning and degreasing solvent based on Benzene. A powerful solvent used for cleaning and degreasing. Ideal to degrease clock & watch parts, including hairsprings. Will not dissolve shellac.
Directions:
Place the hairspring or other oily componenet in a shallow tray, cover with Horosolv and leave for 1 minute. Can be used on larger items for cleaning and degreasing but a longer period of immersion will be required. Can be applied by brush. Make a small scale test on any kind of substance being cleaned for the first time Use only in a well ventilated area. Seal container well after use
