Kumihimo Braiding Disk FK100
In ancient Japanese culture, the samurai warrior would wear armour that was held together with a braided cord which (back then) created a sturdy and strong connection between each plates, this syle was known as Kumihimo. Now thanks to the experts at Beadsmith, Kumihimo has become an easy and popular jewelley making technique!!
The disk is used to braid the thread down through the hole as you move the thread from one side of the disk to the other in a circular motion.
