Kumihimo Weighted Bobbins- FK101
In ancient Japanese culture, the samurai warrior would wear armour that was held together with a braided cord which (back then) created a sturdy and strong connection between each plates, this syle was known as Kumihimo. Now thanks to the experts at Beadsmith, Kumihimo has become an easy and popular jewelley making technique!!
Used with the Kumihimo Disk (FK101) the weighted bobbins are used to keep the threads from tangling together whilst you braid.
